Maria T is for sale (in the Swap Meet section of the foum) so I figured I'd share some of her mods in case anyone is interested before she is happily cruising with her new owner...

I assume someone has already done this but just in case here's the idea- I installed an inspection port above the threaded inspection port of my water tank. This lets me do a few things:

1) Easily access the tank's inspection port to see how much water is left.

2) Open the tank so it can vent much more quickly and thus fill more rapidly from the deck fill (this takes two people so the person watching the tank can tell the other when to stop...)

3) Fill the water tank from the inside if I'm filling it from a jerry can.

4) Inspect the inside of the tank to make sure it remains clean.
