Single handed Friday and Saturday. Incredible weather. Got up Sunday am and figured I could handle whitecaps with a 150 and got my bass whipped. sailed back in to the cove to reef the main, an add a 110.
Dropped the anchor in what I thought was a calm area, turned out to be a wind tunnel and tried to pull the boat up to the anchor about three times and just got blown back downwind... Finally had to motor up about three times and got the anchor up.. sailed out into whitecaps and took water over the bow for the first three upwind legs.
Talk about a whippin... that's one way to start a day.

Indeed, the C25 can be a lot of boat for one person - esp in whitecaps. Unless the wind is coming from the north or south on our lake it is just too much work because of all the tacking.
Friends have a C36 on the Chesapeake and they say with just the two of them - it is sometimes more than they can handle.
I absolutely love the exercise.. the Grlfrnd is training up for a full ironman so I'm no longer able to keep up with her. She did 100 miles on the bike Saturday at about 15mph. I'm training up for a 1/2 marathon in Oct. and I can't find a better low impact workout to add to my running. And what fun!
