We got the renewal notice in the mail this week from Travelers, $184.00 to cover the boat, motor, and trailer.

That's about what I pay, $181, for inland waters including the Great Lakes and Gulf coastal waters.

My insurance with BoatUS, which is with Continental Insurance co, part of CNA. Boat value at $27500, $500,000 liability, $1000 Personal Effects. No trailer and $200 deductible. I got a credit for no losses last year so premium $179.00. Other misc coverage ie medical and UM, etc.

I just filled out the online quote for Boat US. Will compare with my renewal.

Two quotes back from Boat US, didn't take long. Actual cash value not to exceed $6,000 for boat and motor and $2,500 for the trailer, liab $100k/$300k - $140 premium; agreed value $6000 & $2,500 with $300k liability - $218 premium, both after credits for zero claims history.
Got to compare values to the Travelers policy and decide. Renewal is 9/22.
