On Wednesday my wife and I were in Annapolis to go to an art gallery and of course I had to hit the marine supply places. It's great to be somewhere that caters to sailors rather than power boaters! Anyway, my wife comes up to me and tells me she has found her ideal Christmas gift. Imagine how surprised I was when she holds up a Fortress Anchor!!!!!! YeeeeHaaaa!

Bill you lucky dog. And she found it at an art gallery? I ask cuz I cant get my wife in a marine store, PERIOD. I gotta move there So what did you find at the marine store? Do they have a WWW?

It is a nice anchor. (I have one as a secondary.) But don't forget, you still want 25 lbs. of chain on it.

Steve the www on Bacon Sails where we got the anchor is www.baconsails.com.

Dave don't worry...this anchor is just for the sandbar... not for overnights as my regular anchor has lots of chain!
