The '85 C25 came from the factory with a sliding gooseneck - so, the boom would move up or down with halyard tension. In a series of owners since 1985, a PO might have rigged a fixed gooseneck in place of the sliding one. Bill Holcomb - C25 Snickerdoodle #4839
