Sent you an email, but either way I'm prob going to sell them with the mast and boom.
Still parting, have shipped several items. Many more parts to come, even pulling some today. I might do this again if this kind of deal comes along again, but never in the winter, haha
Thanks for the quick shipping, Chris. Looks like you cleaned the sailcover before shipping. It was in nice condition and I'm very happy. If you get a chance to trace that hatch, we could do that as well.

Awesome, I'm glad you're happy with it. I actually have the hatch in my office with some paper and scotch tape. Hope to get it traced tomorrow for you, sorry about the delay on that.
Hey Chris, Glad things are going well. If Ben don't take the anchor hatch I am interested also how is the port cockpit hatch cover? any photos? Thanks for your time and efforts

Devin, That hatch cover is indeed avail. I would say it's in fair to moderate condition but certainly servicible. I would be taking photos of lots of things tomorow evening.
For the rest of the gang, I have been working on the boat on and off for a few days. It's surprising how tough it is to find time to work on it even though it's in my very own yard. I have pulled most of the interior wood and shall be providing photos of that. I have removed the lifeline and started on the stanchions. Some of them are tentatively spoken for but not all of them. I pulled off the super long piece of rubber rub rail and started on the 1000's screws that hold the alum on. Someone has spoken for a 6' section of that, but otherwise it will be avail.
There are quite a few things that people have mentioned that they wanted but then they don't reply or post anymore. Don't be that guy! I hold things when someone mentions they want them trying to fair to all but I'm not fond of flakey people.
Ok,off my little soap box. Anyway I'm not regretting doing this at all. It's small adventure and in the end it may yield me a C25 of my very own or at least something bigger than my Siren 17. So if anyone knows of someone interested in a little unsinkable daysailor with a small cabin and trailer please let me know. I'll be looking to get $1500 for the package.
In the meantime I've started communications with someone in regards to a C25 on the east coast. Wish me luck. What a good way to find a surveyor in the New England area?

Did you get my PayPal for the shipping of the cleats?

several months ago scrap iron was 9 cents a pound
Maybe someone will have a use for the hull- here are some ways that I have seen old hulls used here in FL: - water park scenery -seafood restaurant -cut off the bow and use it as a doghouse

I had an interesting thought; it might be worth taking the keel when you are done. This would allow me to refinish it, then swap with my keel. I was looking at taking it somewhere and have the boat lifted on straps, drop the keel, then do the process over again once the keel was refinished. This might allow me a better window to get it completed. I could refinish my keel and offer it to someone and start the process over again.
I am still exploring options for the hull. Wonder if I should approach a seafood restaurant? As far as the keel goes I am happy to sell it for current scrap prices. My plan was to cut it out of the bottom of the boat anyway, so let me know if you're serious about wanting it and we can make a deal.
Are the dinning table cushions still available. Not my color but I may take them. I don't have a center one to put over the dinning table only the 2 seat cushions and seat backs. Would you sell just the center one.

Thanks, how much would you want for it?, I live in Columbus as well, and can stop by take a look/pick it up. There are other items I may be interested in, so you can email me directly to: luisdecr@yahoo.com with the info.
