I agree which I why I'll be stripping the boat myself and taking pictures of everything. It will all be stored on shelves in my basement out of the elements until I sell with the exception of maybe the mast and trailer.
Also the trailer will likely be for sale as well. I have one potentially interested parts and now from the post above it appears two.
The first thing coming out will be what appear to be the pristine cushions, then I will start pulling hardware. Everything will be photographed and stored. Photographs will be placed in the swap meet forum in a new thread I shall start. While new to this forum, I am not new to forums in general. I have bought and sold many items through forums but mostly in the Audi/VW world. I will prefer paypal plus 3% to cover their cut, unless items are picked up in which I'll prefer paypal before arrival or cash in hand. If anyone is concerned in my new-ness on this forum I could easily direct you to other similar forums where I have 1000's of post and there would be people that could vouch for me.
I will be seeking advice as to what I should start pulling first and of what could be of value over other items. Eventually my own research will tell me the items of value and how much value they actually have but some advice can never hurt. I am also open to advice as to what items I should try to sell together and what items would better be sold separately.
Chris, I would also be interested in the cushions, depending on condition, color and whether you can smell tobacco smoke (my family has varying degress of asthma, tobacco is our trigger.) The question of shipping comes to mind, too... not quite sure how to ship such large custions (grin).
Anyway... looking forward to seeing your posts! Thanks!
The cushions didn't seem to have any initial odor to them when I first checked out the boat, but I will give them the thorough sniff test and let you know.

I should have stated, better pictures of the items he will be selling!
Tonight I pulled all the cushions as it was calling for rain tonight. As stated early on in the forum, the previous owner stated that the water was in it due to someone recently leaving the hatch open. Someone didn't buy it, but I think he was telling the truth. I base this simply on the fact that the cushions are in such great shape. The boat apparently sat for two years, and if it had leaks those cushions certainly wouldn't have survived.
Anyway, I also pulled out the porta pot. It clearly had "contents" so I gave it a big heave ho over the rail into the front yard. I'll deal with it in the morning when it's daylight and that will be with a garden hose and a ten foot pole...haha.
I worked past dark on it, and after the headlamp straped to my head started to give me a headache I decided to put a battery in the boat. I was tickled to find out that some of the lights actually worked.

I am willing to sell you that hull number plate, but I would like to keep the spreader items on the mast to sell together.
Jeez, what a project! You must be up for a hurting. It's amazing you can get a bloody thing from that heap. Sure, there are some good parts.. but really, thats a huge job even for fred sanford! Good luck my man.
On second look at the pictures, it looks like the boat has the dinette interior (one of the pics has the square tube table folding leg in it between what looks like the two dinette seats and floor. Doesn't look like the "L" shaped dinette interior. So I can't use the cushions.
I would like to buy the block attached to the bow pulpit and the jib cars and attached carbo blocks. Are there any cockpit cushions?

That picture is looking into the bilge (full of water) through the aft "dinette" seat. Chris, you can add that to the description. It also jibes that there are 12--that's the full complement including the table-filler, v-berth filler, and two for the quarterberth.

I seem to be getting only about 50% of the emails sent to me. Anyway as posted above, I've started a part out thread. Someone else request the cars and their blocks in the other thread but after you posted in this thread. Are you only interested in the cars or the carbo blocks as well?
Chris, I would respectfully suggest you appeal to the webmaster to have this thread locked so all your "parts requests" go to one place. Otherwise you are in for a mess of book-keeping.
