I have an WK #408. I noticed the outside transom motor plate on the new model is slightly larger. That would solve my problem of moving my motor more to starboard for better turning. Has anyone ever removed the transom white composite motor board and the stainless plate? My goal would be to install the new motor board configuration or at the least to move the present one.
Steve, I don't recall reading about this over the last few years but, there is a ton of material regarding hard and soft links to the rudder that assist with steering in tight quarters. Do you have a wheel? What kind of motor and where are the motor controls/tiller?
