After much thought, measurement, pros and cons, etc. I've come up with this system to make cooler drain easy and not have to lift the cooler out of the boat again. Basically, the employment of a clean looking flush mount y-valve, I am giong to switch between freshwater tank and cooler and use the electric wash down pump to rid the water from the cooler. I would appreciate any caveats or advice before I cut the lines and install the y-valve. THanks!

We installed a bigger cooler, so there's no room for a connection to the cooler drain without cutting a hole in the aft bulkhead of the galley.

When we are out for longer trips, I do lift the cooler onto the 'bridge' and drain the water into the cockpit.

Had thought of using a bailer to dump the water.
