I have a 2006 250 catalina standard rig wk. I'm hoping someone knows what size spreader boots my boat takes. West Marine offers three sizes, but I know the large is to large. The medium fits spreader tips 2-1/4"x11/16", shrouds to 3/16", the small fits spreader tips 1-1/2"x1/2", shrouds to 1/8". Anyone know for sure what size will fit? Thanking you in advance for your help.
Thanks for confirming what I had decided to try. The more I looked at 1-1/2" tip the more I thought it has to be larger than that. Even if the medium is a little to large tape should hold it in place. Are you in the water yet? My lake is at 9,000 feet and the ice melts about mid may so it won't be long now. Thanks again.
Try contacting Catalina. They sell parts and you can get the exact right spreader boot. You can e-mail the parts department. It is ken"at"catalinayachts.com. He is quite responsive.

Not trying to be nit-picky, but a minor typo in the name might keep it from going through. The guy I've always dealt with there is Kent Nelson, and he seems to be the go-to guy whose name always pops up when people have parts/engineering issues.
Great, we have two good people at Catalina! I recently ordered a mast stop screw from Catalina and I got a secretary that fumbled through drawings looking for the part. She located several wrong items before finally sending me an email with a drawing of the wrong part that she insists is the right item with the wrong picture. I regret ordering it (that was days ago) and I still don't have it. I have no idea what will arrive.
I have also been dealing with Warren Pandy at Catalina Yachts in Florida for my new rudder. Very helpful. The C250 is now the responsibility of the Florida operation.
