Not WENTCH problem.
I took my Lewmar #7s off the boat to rebuild them. I downloaded a manual ff there site. When I got it appartthere sere no roller bearings as were shown in the picture. There was only a central shaft with gears at the top and the bottom. It's a black looking material that looks like a composite. I don't think it takes roller bearings assuming this winch is correct, should I put some grease on the shaft other than on the gears?
Wondering what you guys have found.

Answer to my own question. Got it from a yard in Chicago. Older Lewmar #7's do NOT have roller bearings. Yes, put a little grease on the shaft too.

It's an easy job we should probably more often. After many years, no new parts were needed.
