When you drop the mast, how do you deal with the mast light and antenna cables? It does not appear that these cables can be disconnected easily.

The factory connector for the lights on the mast is a 4-pin plug that goes into a socket on the deck by the mast. A collar screws down to make the connection tight and weatherproof. If yours is stock, you should be able to unscrew the collar and pull the plug.

The antenna connection is up to whoever installed the antenna--my cable exited the mast to a screw-together coax connector on a short tail above the deck.

What are you seeing?
