Rita & I took a drive down to our marina today to check our lines since Puget Sound has small craft advisories for today & tomorrow. I knew I already had my lines in good shape, but it gave us a chance to get some other work done while we were there plus it never hurts to check again.
I ended up repositioning my starboard bowline aft to our mid-ship's cleat so I could us it to pull SL away from the dock with. The wind is out of the south, so it's pushing the boat into the dock. We also pumped the water tank dry, lubed the plungers on the sink pumps, and emptied the flush tank on the porta-potti. We haven't had any freezing temps yet, but it got close a couple of nights ago, and while we might take the boat out a couple more times before we pull it for the winter, at least I know I won't get freezing damage if the temps drop.
