I think I see Chris's point... If you e-mail by clicking the user name in the left column and using the "Send e-mail" function, the return address in the e-mail is your e-mail address (from your profile). If you click in the post header, the return address in the e-mail is the administrator. I've always used the former method--I didn't recall the problem with the latter until I tried it just now (sending to myself). Some might call that an idiosynchrasy, others would all it a bug.

"forum administrator" knows what I said, but I don't think you do... <hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></font id="quote"></blockquote id="quote">Yup--I didn't get anything. I can't explain that--the "user profile" approach has worked for me in the past--several people have replied to me successfully.
Dave, the trouble is that the email link above the posts must route the mail through the association server in such a way that the forum admin is the sender or something. I may be nagging over nothing, but I've sent a few emails to forum admin now, rather than the intended recipients.
Here's what I have found. There are two features that lead to the email a member option. a) the b) the 'E-Mail User:' link in a members profile (the page that shows when you click on the posters name in the left hand column.)
Both links call a javascript to a pop up with the exact same credentials.
So if I click on either of those two features, then the exact same popup appears, and the exact same data is passed to the emailer.
If I am logged in as Admin (I am right now) then the reply address should be the admin's. But if I'm logged in as britinusa, then the reply address should be my personal email, not Admins.
Hope that helps, and if you notice anything contradicting that scenario, please let me know.

Log in as yourself and try mailing something to yourself using the --you'll see the admin address in the <b>From</b> line. Then do the same thing using the profile function, and you'll see your profile address in the From line.

What David said - this guys ISP needs a block on it. he's worse than the generous guy who hit all teh forum emails with a offer for a rich inheritance from Nigeria.
