I dont want to go into the whole story, But I was sailing a Hunter 34 on Tampa Bay off Apollo Beach. I saw this C250 anchored off of "beer can island". Does any one know who this is? I searched, but came up with ziltch. I know Don B. has a 25 in that area.

I am also in Apollo Beach. I don't know who it is, but since "Beer Can", AKA Pine Key on some charts, is in the Bay, that boat could've been from Tampa, St. Pete or even Bradenton.

Hey Kendall, I don't know whose C250 you saw but I do know where there is another "Beer Can Island"

Sort of wonder how many beers you need to go through for a place to officially be called "Beer Can Island".

I keep my boat at a marina up the Manatee River. Most of my day trip destinations include Egmont Key and the St. Pete/Skyway bridge area.

I hope you had a great cruise out on Tampa Bay...it sure is a beautiful area.
