<font face="Verdana">I need curtains for a 1984, 25' Catalina sailboat. Rear ports are 32"L x 8"W. Front ports are 34"L x 9"W.

I think 1980-85 have the same window configurations.

If you have any decent curtains for sale (possibly including rods that connect to the screws of the windows) for this particular boat (including the bathroom ports), get back to me. Looking for white with blue trim, or brown, blue or beige solid colors. Would consider patterns.

Thank you!

Do a search on curtains. Someone in here described how he bought folding blinds and cut them down to fit the windows. It seemed like a great idea and simpler than curtain rods.

Catalina Direct used to sell curtains, albeit pricey. There is a site that sells replacement curtains for Catalina's -- off hand have forgotten the name but will check my other computer where the page is saved and post later(can Google "Catalina Yachts curtains" and find it). I have seen curtains at West Marine that would require hardware. Overall, the curtains are easy to make and/or find -- it's the hardware that is more complicated. If the hardware (tracks) are their then West/Defender, etc will have the pieces that are sewn into the curtain and slide in the slots. Others have used pull shades and the like for simple options -- but I like curtains. Not that you will not find them here, but most of our boats are old enough that anything that is "used" would not be as nice as new. Hope this helped.

Here's the link to the thread that you referenced. Scroll down to the 6th reply for Pics and description of the folding blinds.
