First is a Loos Gauge model PT-1 for cable sizes, 3/32, 1/8, and 5/32. New at $70 this one is like new and selling for $35 including shipping.
Next is a Wind Scoop (Best Marine Imports) that attaches to your forward hatch and forestay. It catches the breeze and sends it down into the cabin. New at $48 this one is like new and selling for $25 including shipping.
Final item is a Lewmar winch handle holder. I added two button snaps that you can remove. These cost $25 and I'm selling for $10 including shipping.
Send me an e-mail if you want an item.
We cannot direct the winds but we can adjust our sails.
I think we need to all agree on a new policy regarding selling items in the swap meet. If it's small items like these we need to all agree on one of the following:
A) Nothing can be offered for sale during normal sailing hours on the weekend so that we down south who can sail all winter have a fair shot at getting some of these items (and can use them all year long)
OR
B) Nothing can be offered up for sale until you contact me first to see if I'm interested.
Steve, I'll measure the snaps tonight. They are positioned to use two snaps already on the bulkhead for the poptop tent. The holder is a very firm but not sold vinyl. It is sturdy but wont hurt you if you bang into it. Lewmar.
UPDATE - The snaps are 2 1/16" apart - center to center
