After seeing the thread Surprise in the admiralty forum with some photos under sail, I thought maybe we should start a thread where we all post photos of our Catalinas under sail. I'll start with a few.

I took this of Dave with his C-250:

This past weekend I took a bunch of photos of Daren's C-25. Note his tall rig bimini solution.

Dave took this one of me:

I have many others, but that's a start. Anyone want to add to the collection?

I wish I had a better one to add. We don't have any from another vantage point and this one was taken on our check out sail before buying Antares from Seatrac. Several changes have been made, one of which is a Harken furler anda 150 Genoa added. this picture is on Grand Lake in N.E. Oklahoma.

Taken before the new set of sails.

On a run in warmer times!

How do I get them bigger? Never used to have that problem!

This is what I did while using Shtterfly.

1. Choose the "view larger" option.

2. When the larger image comes up, right-click on it.

3. Select "Properties"

4. Copy URL.

5. Past that URL in reply.

Here's the latest picture of my boat while underway. That's me pulling the dinghy and flying the Jolly Roger flag.

Paul on JD is on the outside.

(Don't mind the guys taking the picture)

John, I tried that (again) and this time all that posted were 2 small squares with a red X in the center. I clicked on that and got nothing.

Tom, that's a great video... I remember what happend within 10 minutes of that being shot!!!!
But when you look at the video, there's really no sign of the impending storm!

Derek: From Shutterfly... I double-clicked a thumbnail, and then double-clicked the larger image, and got a still larger one. Right-clicked and copied the URL. Make sure you're copying the entire URL--it's pretty long.

(Removed for aesthetic purposes. )

Ray,
Nice to see someone else that doesn't have a fit about sailing with the pop top up And oh what the heck, it's (my boat pic) over on the Admiralty page but I'll post it again here

I have a line running around the mast to hold the pop top up. I agree if it fell it could hurt, sever, maim. I'd like one more set of supports to secure it in the up position. I like my fingers.

Anyone sailing/sitting with just the stock "slide" clip up is just a fool, it will loosen and drop when you are not aware and it is a bad accident waiting to happen. A Dangerous situation. This forum helped me become aware of the danger, and I thank it every day to help me learn the easy way.

I'm 6' 1" sailing on a crowded lake and it is a helpful lookout from the main cabin.
