My brain and body are mush from spending the past four days offshore between Cape Canaveral and charleston. I'll post a full update with lots of pics tomorrow. Here are a couple of teasers for now.
Morning after 25kt Northerly winds in the western-most wall of the Gulf Stream. These waves were small by comparison to the night before. Seriously. That 5h!7 got nasty bigtime.
And here is what the ocean looked like this morning 30 miles off of Savannah, GA.
The Gulf Stream has beautiful blue waters.
The trip rocked, and the Island Packet is a freight train in 25kt winds.
