I have a 78 25 with the setee interior. I do not have any cushoins and can not figure out how they should be laid out for the setee. I know the table set down to make a berth, but how do the cushions go? Thanks John

On my boat there came a cushion made that fits the table top so that when the table is lowered between the seats it makes up to a bed that only subteens can sleep on. Some extend the bed to run atwart ships which requires additional supports. The archives should provide documentation by those who have done the mod. Look under appro0priate headings.

Gotta go we're emptying a bed room in preparation for the rug men coming tomorrow.

The cushions for all the other spots are irregular shapes, but the one to cover the lowered table is a rectangle. I recovered all of my ratty old tan plaid cushions, and I had to figure out what went where.

The table cushion is the only one that is easy to replace with a new rectangular piece of foam if you need to do that.

Hi,
Look like the PO removed it from the boat.
Probably never used it. As mentioned by John, this one is a simple rectangular cushion.

I have an extra piece of wood that I place between the two side and cover with the back cushion to fill the gap, and it makes an extra full size bed.

I bought new foam to make some cushions that are missing on my barge. I bought 4" firm foam rubber from Rick's Foam Rubber off eBay. He has great prices and fast FREE shipping.
I bought the 24" wide x 80" long.
It came rolled up like a sleeping bag. I bought 2 pieces 4" thick for seats and 2 pieces 2" thick for backs. I emailed him and he recommended the firm for boat cushions.

I got the same thicknesses as Happy (an inch thicker than stock on the seat bottoms and berths), but the shop that made my cushions recommended medium firmness. Then they added an inch of "fiber" matting on top, like in a lot of upholstered furniture, to add a little softness. Very nice... Bruce Ross, current owner, can add his opinion. (I had the same thing done in my new boat.)

The cushions are very comfortable. Just the right thickness. When we get together with friends down below, we can really get settled in. Dave's choice was perfect.

Since I can work remotely for my job from time to time, I will set up my laptop and cell phone on the table and sit all afternoon whilst replying to emails and participating on conference calls. No sorebuns!

However, when I set up the cabin for sleeping, I drop the table, add the filler board between the settee and the table and remove the cushions.

Instead, I have an 8" queen size air mattress that fits the space perfectly. With the cushions in place, I'd be too high up.
