If you have a myspace account check out the fog I sailed through today coming home from my overnight trip up Galveston Bay

I used up all the air in my horn and switched to the manual horn the last two hours. If my chartplotter had failed me I would still be anchored out there.

gbeardjr,

Where did you sail to? You are right about the fog. It was terrible in La Porte today. I left work in low clouds and heavy fog and by the time I got home on the SW side of town the skies were partly cloudy.

BTW, don't know if you knew this but I bought La Fawnduh from Colby back in October.

December 10, 2007 -- At 9PM this evening it's 74 degrees with a low around 70 expected in the morning. High tomorrow is supposed to be in the high 70's!

Hey Gary,

Yeah I knew you purchased La Fawnduh, are you still on pier 13 at watergate. I'm still on pier 15. I sailed to Bayland Marina in Baytown near the 146 bridge. Its a good sail and place to overnight but they have shutdown the bar there and the channel is poorly marked and shallow getting in there. I had to crank the keel all the way up and still barely got in. The fog didn't hit until I got to Bayport then I was consumed. Without a good charplotter I would still be anchored out there waiting this out. Were you able to see the pics?

Yeah, still in the same slip! What slip are you in? I'll come by sometime and introduce myself.

Have you heard from Colby lately? I tried to email him about a month ago but never got a response.
