I used up all the air in my horn and switched to the manual horn the last two hours. If my chartplotter had failed me I would still be anchored out there.

Where did you sail to? You are right about the fog. It was terrible in La Porte today. I left work in low clouds and heavy fog and by the time I got home on the SW side of town the skies were partly cloudy.
BTW, don't know if you knew this but I bought La Fawnduh from Colby back in October.

December 10, 2007 -- At 9PM this evening it's 74 degrees with a low around 70 expected in the morning. High tomorrow is supposed to be in the high 70's!
Yeah I knew you purchased La Fawnduh, are you still on pier 13 at watergate. I'm still on pier 15. I sailed to Bayland Marina in Baytown near the 146 bridge. Its a good sail and place to overnight but they have shutdown the bar there and the channel is poorly marked and shallow getting in there. I had to crank the keel all the way up and still barely got in. The fog didn't hit until I got to Bayport then I was consumed. Without a good charplotter I would still be anchored out there waiting this out. Were you able to see the pics?
