<font size="4"><font face="Comic Sans MS">I don't know if this has been done before, but maybe it's time has come. Let's put a picture to the names out there. Post a picture of yourself, your significant other, and possibly something interesting in your life!

Don't be shy, inquiring minds want to know!

I'll start, here I am, Admiral Doty and myself on SanFransico bay, and rigging the boat last spring. I sail out of Mosquito lake in northeastern Ohio. We race every monday night during the summer and have about 35 sailboats in our marina.

Great idea!

Here's Captn' Steve at the helm on Ghost Lake, Alberta about 45 minutes West of Calgary with a view of the Rocky Mountains in the back. Water here is greenish blue as if sailing in the Caribbean. We dry sail mostly and share the lake with approximately 40-50 sailboats however most of the time I see about 10 on the lake actually sailing. My daughter Amy is peeking from behind.

And here is Admiral Martine taking in the sun while anchored and the kids are swimming. The Admiral is becoming quite active and confident on the boat now, pretty good for someone who's afraid of water.

Good cold-weather idea! Well, this is me (under the sailor's hat) aboard Sarge on the hook at Block Island.

This after 50+ years with sailboats--most of them with my late Admiral. I have pix of us on our C-25, Passage, but I'll pass on that for now.

I had a lot of fun participating in the design and watching the construction of Sarge up in NH. I guess it's not that interesting to you sailors, but she takes me to some nice destinations out of Mystic, CT, with or without my busy "friend", and the huge cockpit is a great gathering place when we get there. (Most of the time, the canvas is rolled up or stored below.) Sarge lives in a slip outside my condo (where Passage couldn't get to).

Here's my new (together almost 3-years) First Mate and her Captain...

You're right--she could probably take me!

What a great idea and one I don't recall having done before.

Here is a photo of the Vice-Admiral and I. (Rear Admiral?) He has shot up a bit since this photo was taken.

Another image featuring the vice admiral from SF bay and one of the reasons we don't sail Fiorghra very often at present. The junior regatta schedule and soccer schedule take a lot of weekends out of play. But I am determined to enjoy these years while we have them together.

Good idea, it's nice to put a face to our names on here.
Here I am when I took my dad out sailing to the Chesapeake Bay bridge and back on a nice windy day:

Cleveland Skyline and my ugly mug

Daughters first sail (about 3 years ago) - me and the wife (rare photo because you will almost never see my the wife a slow boat let alone a cruiser

Early April, 43 degrees, snow on the land. Full gear and a bottle of Bahamian Cockspur Rum (for medicinal purposes)

Another photo from the early years. Hotter than heck,

This one is for Lucier - and a laugh or two for the rest of you.

Being the psycho photo poster that I am I think most have seen me in a lot of pictures as well as my by-line head shots in the Catalina Mainsheet Magazine, however also being incredibly vain I will not pass up this opportunity to plaster my mug here.

My First Mate of 40 years.

As for something interesting... I am not.

Thanks guys ! Posting photos on the Forum is not one of my adept skills. Most times, I believe it is because my photo file is at too high a resolution/memory size. So...this time I thought I had downsized it okay....but I guess I still screwed up..hit the wrong button ..should have been the picture URL.

Thanks for taking care of it.....
By the way...why does it say to the left of the response block "HTML off" ? Turning that on...what does that do for you ? I noticed it also on my profile page but could not see how you turn it on.
