Back home again after a great Cruise. First cruise alone. Got to stop at Randy and Pat's, met Paul on the docks at Cap Sante, Oysters at Captain's place, met a lot of great people, Ganges Harbor Master presented me with a birthday cake, shared cake with new and old friends and had my birthday dark port with the locals at Ganges then shared my birthday wine with other sailors.Favorite stop at Princes Margaret Marine Park.
Snowbird on the lunch hook.
Just another island, sure. Each island has it's own look and story.
What can you say, just enjoy.
Ganges sunset.
New stop for me and very nice. Check the tide before entering.
Yes I have my inflatable harness on and am snapped on. Autohelm takes me away. Have the reel on the stern pulpit for the 600' floating shore line when anchoring in the parks. Want to show what I came up with as a easier way to attach and store a wet shore line.
A 1930's boat that my new friends took me on a very fast ride. Yes in my other life I was a stinkpotter.
The new hoist at Cap Sante which is very nice and easy. Capacity now is 25,000 lbs.
Back to port without any road problems. The new disc brakes were very good and worked perfect. No smoke on the long down grades like the drum brakes. Never got together with the Scotts but saw other 25's in most of the stops. Two 25's never heard of the Forum but invited them to check the great stuff.

Jim,
I don't know if it's the settings or the photographer but every time you post pictures I am taken aback. Excellent clarity and subject matter. Thanks so much for sharing.

Thanks, you other sailors give me the want to share as I enjoy your postings so much. I am very lucky with the pictures and what a struggle to get them and post them. You others keep sharing your pictures and posts too. I like to see what you see and I don't care if a picture is a little rough. I'm back in the water soon.

Great photos Jim! We head for the San Juans on the 5th of September for a two week cruise. We'll be putting in at Cape Sante and first stop is Blind Bay. Wish us luck!

We're glad you had a great trip. Some day we'll meet you in the islands. Take care.

Pat and Randy, thanks for your curb and get together with breakfast. Enjoyed the first night stop and your hospitality. Randy's call with the birthday wish was too much, really caught me off guard. We will meet someday in the islands.

Sorry we missed you Jim,called you on radio a number of times but no answer. we are in Anacortes now and it is raining so I am at library sending this message. It was a great cruise after so many years between our cruises in C25's. Our current boat performed well as did the new outboard...a 9.8 tohatsu. We are doing land cruising for a few days until rain stops and then will pull out for the trip home...take care, Dave
