We started our Summer Series yesterday on Canyon Lake. 'Twas 95 degrees with a heat index of 105!! (Anyone interested in holding the Nationals here????)
We had a 6 boat fleet racing PHRF - 2 Catalina 22's, an S2 27', a Cal 24-3, a Hunter 25.5, and us. Winds were 5 - 6 to start, rising to 9 -10 by race 2. We took 2 bullets...
