We owned a 2006 Catalina 250 wing keel and want to add a steel plate with rollor chock at the bow as a way to ease lowering and rising of the anchor and avoid damage to the hull or foredeck. Anyone has ever installed that? Any ideas and pictures are very welcomed. Thanks nikacnbg jacques.sorel at sympatico.ca

Duane: Did you e-mail him about the move--he might never find it.
We bought the ar3 bow roller ,I havent bolted it down yet .
When you throw the anchor over ,do you lower the anchor down the bow roller ? Or over the top of the safty line . right now I throw the anchor over the safty rail. just wondering how you do it .
and is there any room for washers or a blacking plate looks like its going to be tight on the under side .
I installed the AR3 on a '97 C250. It's a tight fit, but I was able to use washers on the underside. I had to grind a little off one side of a couple of the washers. Click here to see project notes.
