Has anyone gone yet? It's in a way bigger venue than years past. I'm going Friday with 2 co-workers, one of whom is looking to tarde up from his AMF 2100.
Just back... Very nice venue--fully carpeted (and therefore QUIET) with a roof that easily accommodates the larger sailboat masts. Catalina's smallest entry there is the 309, along with the 320, 350, and 387. I love that 350 with the centerline forepeak berth.
Also saw a nice little Tartan 3400 for just a little under 2000 boat units. But my favorite boat in the show was the Hereshoff 12-1/2, probably the prettiest little boat ever made. I don't think it was much over $35,000, so don't wait--supplies are limited!
The builder of my boat (Eastern) is there, too, with a somewhat similar version of the 27 they're building for me.
I also met Bruce Isidor (Designwiz)--the guy who's parting out and then ripping up the old Com Pac... He regaled me with some more of that story.
Now if global warming would just get itself going...
