Hi All, I listed my boat today. With my wife and I buying the business up north I need the money. The good thing is that right across the street from the business and that is were a good friend of mine keeps his C30 and never uses. I will start looking for a newer C25 by the end of this coming summer. I am not leaving the forum by anymeans. Cheers.
It is hard to find a better boat than ours for daysailing and occasional nights on the hook. You are now a very sophisticated buyer, you are going to love your next 25.
I often wondered about a deal where I do the boat maintenance in return for some hours sailing their boat. I was in Louisiana a few years ago and saw boats with algae all over the boat from the top of the mast to the waterline and thought about a maintenance agreement with the owners. Might work if it's the right people. Best wishes on the purchase of your new business. Dan
Frank, yes I will look for the last years of the C25. And yes, I feel much better prepared buying the next one.
Dan, in this case, the guy just wants the boat to be sailed. All he does is work on it. He has very little confidence in his own sailing skills. 10 degrees is almost on its side in his mind.

(Although personally, I'm not keen on taking other people's boats out without them around...)
Best of luck with the business and your "new" C-25!

That's almost as bad as saying a C25 is an upgrade to a Capri 25
