Hello Hello!

My first post. I very recently acquired Capri25 Hull #307 at Lake Hartwell SC. This boat was very well maintained by the previous owner for racing. Two sets of Haarstick Pentex sails, a practice set (2003) and a new (2006) set for racing. Included also a Haarstick Maxi Runner. New standing and running rigging. Recent bottom job. With some winter practice, we will be ready for PHRF club races in spring. I have had some crew experience, and was ready for my own boat. This boat came available and I grabbed it! Whoo-hooo!

Previous owner took delivery of a Melges 24. We will be chasing him in our spinnaker fleet. I plan to Race on Saturdays, and take the family out daysailing on Sunday.

Looking forward to learning more about the boat from all of you.

Also, I can not log in to the capri 25 yahoo group. Does Yahoo make you lower all of your security settings? I use netscape 8.1.

Welcome Jayhawk,

Sounds like a great boat. I'd love to see some pictures of how your running rigging is laid out.

Your membership for the Yahoo group has to be approved before you can log in. It has been approved and you should be receiving the welcome letter/email shortly.

What is, or was, if you're changing it, the name of your boat?

By the way, I own hull# 309, would be interesting to compare notes.
