I went to the boat today with the only thing on my mind "to go and sail". The wind was shifting about 20deg. and the windspeed was over 12 because of the whitecaps. I just wanted to get the main sail up and see what the shape was. I had a friend of mine meet me up at the club, I waited around for about an hour, then decided to take the hydrohoist apart on the port side(I still have a slow leak). I got everything done by the time my fiend got up to the boat and we went out for the first time in about 3 months. Tomorrow is the start of our winter series, and I have plans to take the boat out for the first race. Even if I get to start its been a long road to getting the mast and the standing rigging back into tune. I got two photos of the main sail before I noticed that I didn't charge the battery on the digital. Hopefully tomorrow I will take up the digital camcorder and get some good video of how the sails are on the boat. I forgot how much fun this boat really is to sail.
