Just got back from a quick trip to Iowa to inspect and then complete the purchase of our new 2000 C250 Wing Keel! It is Hull #433 and has the wheel steering and Autohelm, bimini, depth and speed gauge, Honda 9.9, and is in great shape. I may be 55 but I feel like a 10 year old with a new bike!!
Next week the Admiral and I drive out from Eugene, OR to Iowa to get the boat and tow it back. Thanks everyone for the advice on towing and David for the help on the Equalizer hitch. This forum is one of the reasons why we chose a C250 as the replacement for our Catalina 22. We've joined the association and look forward to participating.
I've been looking through the archives for projects. Let's see, portlights in the aft berth, pedestal guard, porta-potti MSD, BBQ grill, vanity for the head, ..........
We cannot direct the winds but we can adjust our sails.
I've owned my C25 since 1989. There are two things I really enjoy about my boat. Sailing it is formost of course. Sitting on my deck staring out at her on her mooring and thinking about sailing and improvment projects is also a great treat.
