What are the 2 holes near the bottom right and left of the pictured coaming pocket. Port is shown but identical mystery is also on Starboard side? These holes are just that....holes.....no trim...no snaps....zip....zilch...nothing....just holes.

You should keep them clear too, so they will drain. A lot of times dirt,leaves and other things get in there and they stop up, leads to leaks below.

you probably want to check them for leaks anyway. Occasionally Catalina forgets to seal the joints properly and they need sealed with either epoxy or caulk. - Just don't seal the drain holes.
