In my search for a tiller I found the following. J24 tillers are straight and don't work well at all. I had an old tiller in my garage that is filling the gap until my new one comes in, that way I won't miss this weeks race.
I don't know how to post a document here, but the tiller I chose is from IDASAILOR. The Capri 25 uses the "model A". They charge $89 bucks, add $15 for four coats of varnish and $15 for shipping and it's a done deal.
Laminated of alternating strips of 1/4" mahogany and ash. "Finished" tillers are varnished with four coats of marine varnish.
Each H&L Tiller is made to your specifications, and range in price from $60.00 to $100.00 unfinished. High gloss varnish finishing is available, and is quoted on request. Delivery time is generally two to four weeks, depending on the season.

1. Pick the closest tiller shape for your tiller. 2. Indicate the total length of tiller required. 3. Indicate tiller curve height at the *. 4. Indicate the width and height of the tiller butt that fits into the tiller bracket. 5. Trace a full size pattern of the tiller that needs replacing.
