My mast was taken down this weekend and the spinnaker sheaves part way down the mast look like crap. These are the ones riveted into the mast with two per line. Who makes replacements? Or what other alternatives are there to this arrangement?

Rick

Rick, I have seen replacements somewhere. They are bolt-on so you will not have to rivet them into place, just have to cut the old ones out. I will look around today and get back with you when I find them.

I would be concerned about the suggested replacement. The existing exit assembly contains two sheaves. This is important to reduce friction when dousing the spinnaker. The suggested replacement contains only one sheave, which means that the spinnaker halyard would be exposed to the spar cutout from the top. So if you go that route, make sure that the edges of the cutout above the sheave are rounded and polished to insure that the halyard cannot get snagged.
