You might want to know that they are NOT all the same size. I have plywood ones for my '78 SK/SR #685. I bought a used C25 a few years ago, fixed it up and sold it. I tried to use the teak hatchboards from the other boat for mine, I think the hull was around 496 or so.....not even really CLOSE......
I used a piece of Lexan/Plexiglass as a replacement for my top hatchboard when we are sailing in foul weather/sleeping on board in cooler weather. You could probably do that with all 3 hatchboards but you would have to get them smoke colored and install a lock. A lot cheaper than teak!
If you strike out on used, Catalina Direct does sell them, albeit pricey. The originals cannot be refinished? Mine were pretty neglected, I ran them through a planer and took off a skim coat and refinished them.
Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I found a lumber yard where I can buy rough cut teak for $12.50 a board foot. A great price compared to a number of other lumber yards. I also work with a person who has a wood shop and he offered to make me new hatch boards for little or no cost. So, looks like I'll have new hatch boards for around $150. Not bad.
