From [url="http://www.stewartfam.net/arlyn/mrs.html"]Arlyn Stewart's drawing of his mast raising system[/url], it appears that the lower shrouds are attached to the chainplate nearest the bow and the uppers are aft. With the swept back spreaders of the B&R rig, I would guess that his illustration is accurate with the uppers being placed aft.
Before proceeding though, I'd wait for a response from an actual C250 owner!
