How long are the screws that are used to mount brackets to hold the pop top frame above the aft berth?

I don't want to put a screw thru to the cockpit sole!

Would 4200 or 5200 be just as secure?

I used 1/2" screws, but I think the deck around that area is almost 1&1/2" thick (guesstimate by looking at the area aft of the top of the steps. When I drilled through the deck when running the cables for our pedestal guard mounted GPS, the deck was 1&1/2" thick at least.

John,
You can delete your post as long as no one has replied.
Here's the link to the Forum FAQ --> FAQ
Then click on "Can I edit my own posts?"

I had the same trouble when I joined.
