Was just watching "The Price is Right" with my inlaws and they had a new C25 wing keel in one of their showcases. Was wondering what the "MSRP" was for it. I didn't even realize they made a wing keel version these days. Thought they were all water ballast.

KDP

PS.: Lady won it even though she under bid by over $10K. Luck lady.

She's lucky all right...until she gets the tax form from the Price Is Right and has to add the MSRP of her new C250 to her income for tax purposes.

With trailer, motor, freight and commissioning and several nice options a new C250 will prolly *list* at $36-40K; this based on a couple of real quotes I've received.

I'd be curious to know whether Catalina is building more WBs now that Hunter has stopped producing them. I recently met a fellow wing owner who told me Catalina had quit building the water ballast version; when I mused that he might be confusing Catalina with Hunter, he suggested these were fightin words, at which I went looking for coffee. Anyhow it would be interesting to know whether Hunter has simply abandoned the WB market to McGregor & Catalina, or whether Hunter sees a trend back toward keelboats.

I just bought a new C250 WK to the tune of 30k. Base price plus blue canvas all over, wheel steering, cockpit cushions, radio-CD and a 9.9 Honda. No trailer.
