Website Updated - Photo Gallery / Posting Photos Feature
The association website has been updated with some new features.

1) The Photo Gallery page has been re-designed.
Photos can now be grouped into photo albums.
This allows multiple photos to be posted about a topic, like your favorite project or a recent cruise.

Photo Albums are grouped into categories.
The categories appear on the Photo Gallery page on the left menu.
Note: the existing photos have been converted into new galleries.

The Photo Gallery also now has a search feature.

Posting new photos is now a self-service page.
You no longer need to contact the webmaster to upload photos.

2) Posting Photos to the Forum has changed.
You can now post photos to the photo gallery and link those photos to a forum post.
Previously, you had to post photos to an external website (example: Snapfish or Shudderfly) then link those photos to a forum post.
This will reduce the problem of broken links when a photo is deleted.
Note: You can still use the old method of linking photos to a forum post.

You can also link an entire photo gallery to a forum post.
Previously, you had to link each individual photo to a forum post.

3) Posting new photos to the Photo Gallery requires a membership login.
The Members Area has been re-designed.
One the new features of the Member's Area is posting to the Photo Gallery.
Each paid member now has their own user/password access to the Member's Area.
There is a one-time verification process to setup your account.

These new features were made possible by the hard work of our Webmaster Paul Alcock.

I have been asked to provide more detail on these new features.
Here are some instructions on how to get started.

1) Create a membership account
The first time, you will need to complete the registration form.
The member's area uses your email address as your login ID
If you are a current paid member, we will match your email address to the one we have on file.

On the login page:
For current paid members, click the "Get Login Information" button.
For non-members, click the "Join The Association" button.
Complete the instructions on the page.
You will receive an email with the login information.

2) Create a Photo Album and upload pictures
Once you have logged into the Member's Area, use the new menu.
Select "Upload Images" to add new pictures
Select "Manage My Images" to edit or delete your pictures
Select "Manage My Albums" to create or edit a photo album
Select "Instructions" for more features

3) Linking pictures to your forum post.
You can link individual pictures or an entire photo albums to a forum post.
To link an individual picture:
From the Member's Area menu, select "Manage My Images" then click "Forum Insert Code"
Copy the code that appears in the box.
Paste the code into your forum post.

To link an entire photo album:
From the Member's Area menu, select "Manage My Albums" then click "Forum Link to Album"
Copy the code that appears in the box.
Paste the code into your forum post.

4) There are other features in the Member's Area, but these are just a few.
