Asymmetrical Spinnaker Bow Sprit
The bow sprit measures 4 foot and is detachable. The tack line going through the turning block at the end of the bow sprit, is connected to the bow pulpit when the spinnaker is not being used. The red spinnaker sheet attach at the same place. The two SS wires seen just above the bow sprit are used to keep the bow sprit from bending side to side.
Here the spinnaker is being flown with the sheets inside, gybing like a genoa. The sheets can also lead around the
outside for safer gybing in heavy air.
