Song Bird II - Ventilation while sailing

Brain storm...to say the least! Our boomvang was in the way to sail with our pop-top up on our '84 C25. I cut up (with a butcher knife) a large (4-5") noodle from Walmart. Noodle....you know, the long thing you buy for your kids to float around on in the lake. I cut a 1 1/2" "V" to help the sections stay put as I placed six noodle pieces around the pop-top with the top raised. We then lowered the pop-top. The top is totally supported by the noodle with an extra 4" in height---I can even stand on it while we sail if needed. It is GREAT. Headroom and plenty of air while sailing.

I plan on purchasing more noodles to use in the winter. I want to "fit" the ends for a tight seal and make a insulated flap to cover the hole above the top v-door.
