There's a SS eye strap on the starboard side of the boom that I tie the reefing line to using a stopper knot. The line is led through the reefing grommet in the sail and then straight down to a cheek block. Then back to the grommet, through a turning block shackled to the boom end fitting: and finally forward to the cleat. In these photos, the flattening reefline is a white line. There is another white line that droops down from above, through the turning block and is wrapped twice around the boom. This is my topping lift line. The blue line next to the boom is my clew outhaul line. The two photos show the reef point first above the boom in normal sailing position. This second photo shows the reef tucked in.
