Hi,
I'm converting wheel steering on my 1996 C250 WB to a tiller. What type/shape would you recommend?

For instance, the tiller sold by Ruddercraft, which is supposed to fit C250, looks to me like may have too much rise:

If you have this Ruddercraft tiller installed in your own C250, could you please comment if it's comfortable or you'd change anything?

Any other brands/shapes that you've tried on C250 that you would either recommend or warn against?

As far as we can tell the straight tiller is adequate. It clears the fuel compartment nicely without the rise.

Both our C250 came and have a straight tillers easily accommodating extensions and tiller tamers.

I have the ruddercraft BW250 kickup rudder on mine. It's a beast and not fun to put on/take off at the ends of the seasons. I like it a lot, steers really well and it has the tiller rise. I use a tiller clutch mounted on the underside which works very well. I find it very comfortable and I think the rise helps it be at a more comfortable position for your arm and you aren't bending down.
