I haven't been able to post photos lately. Here's the format I'm using, but all I get is the little photo icon in the lower left corner. The photo resides on shutterfly.
In this post I have changed the [] brackets to () brackets.
I can post a link to the image, but I can't post the image itself.
When you copy the address to an image in Shutterfly now (and for the last couple of years), you no longer get an address the ends in .JPG, one of the file types the forum system accepts between the IMG tags. I guess you discovered you can put the address between URL tags, and then somebody can click on it to see the image, like this... That's about it for Shutterfly now. (I suspect they didn't like people using them for free storage of images being used on commercial web pages.)

Ya, it appears the only way you can view a photo stored on Shutterfly is through their software--the alternatives are to copy (Windows) or download it--pretty clearly intentional. At least they haven't "trapped" the photos like some other photo sites have, so that they can't be retrieved by their owners.
