Ok 15 days,
I’m guessing not that many people look at this.
Thread ended.

I ran boat search for C250 hulls #1 and 2, and only got references to C25s. Did Kims reference to boat search really answer the question? Who owns C250 #1 and 2?

The Boat Search shows:

#1 - Gracious, 1994 Standard,Centerboard
Bill Marchand, Salt Lake City UT USA

#2 - Eureka, 1995 Standard,Centerboard
Doug Cook, Katy TX USA

...and a list of 1995s from there. A few C-25s show up based on their years--who knows whether the year, the hull #, or the model is wrong. As with Chuck Shaw's C-25 #1, C-250 #1's year is one ahead of the actual first year of production.

All I'm saying is this exercise has already been performed. Some results may be questionable, but that will always be the case. Boats change hands, and people have provided incomplete and erroneous data (models, years and hull #s). But it's a place to start--perhaps that record could use maintenance.

At least on the C-25 side we do know that Chuck Shaw has been humiliating racers in hull #1 in Florida for all these years, although we haven't heard from him for a while... (I hope he's well.)

Maybe I’m on the wrong page, I was looking for the 250 models.

The #1 and #2 I just cited are C-250s. Look at Boat Search (at left), and select Model: Catalina 250. There are a few #0s (missing hull #s) at the beginning.
