On Febuary 6 of this year Tempus , Latin for time, ran out of time. A uninsured derelict Hunter 30 caught fire and burned to the water line . The culprit was is in the adjacent slip and damaged my boat beyond reasonable repair .
I had insurance and have just settled and time to move on.
West wight potter 19 or Montgomery 17 next I think next , I want it in my driveway every winter.
Thanks to all on the forum for the years of camaraderie.
I will be posting some items that were not attached to the boat in the swap meet section.

That's awful ... 'so sorry that happened to you/your boat!

I guess the silver lining is that you already have a good idea of what you'd like to do next.

Keep us posted, and good luck!

Angus,

Terrible to hear and just be glad no one was injured. Tough to lose something that has brought joy to your life. Hope you find a well founded next chapter. Best of luck!

Wow! Very sorry to hear about the loss of your sweet Catalina 25. It’s very sad. What a freak accident. Of late I’ve heard about a boat fire in coastal CT that took out several others and a boat explosion on a dock near Ft Lauderdale or Jupiter FL(?). Too much negligence, irresponsible boat owners.
You mentioned you planned to place some salvage items on the Swap Meet. As of this writing, I haven’t seen anything there.

Yeah , been busy, and letting the dust settle . I put a lot into the boat over the years, like everybody else I guess . My wife did post a package deal on the Catalina 25 owners Facebook
Sails and some canvas not sure how it would ship to US . But it is in Canadian funds .
I’ll get to the rest of the things in the weeks come.
