This forum needs some activity!

What are you plans for 2021? What projects do you have planned?

Many communities are opening back up, including here in Utah. Our season at Bear Lake starts on May 14th. I'd like to invite anyone to join us on June 11-13 for SailFest...3 days of racing and (hopefully) partying on beautiful Bear Lake. We have 2 Capri 25's racing so far.

In Sept I and the other Bear Lake Capri 25 will be dragging our boats to Wayazata Yacht Club for Star of the North. We'll have a new #1 from Ballard Sails for the regatta. I hope to see many of you there!

I always schedule a trip for the Summer Sailstice. I usually meet up with nearby boaters in a quiet cove for dinner and drinks. Also because it’s usually the weekend of Father’s Day I usually take my son or daughter along if they’re interested.
Due to COVID in 2020, the raft-up featured face masks and everyone stayed on their own boats. Nonetheless I BBQed up some awesome cheeseburgers on my butane cooker and made some Mac & Cheese for the group.
This year I’m planning to overnight in Watch Hill, RI. It’s about 50 nautical miles from my home port, so I’m planning on a looooong weekend.

Bruce: Let me know your schedule--I can make The Kitchen in Watch Hill in three heartbeats (not including waiting for the RR bridge). Just be aware of a new no-wake zone at the west end of Sandy Point entering the bay--you'll have to drop Passage off-plane.

I will do Dave. I have a buddy coming with who has a Wharram catamaran that can do 10+ kts under sail or outboard. I’ll warn him to keep a lid on it.

I think his only problem would be when the powerboat in front of him slows down suddenly... (Could look like a Wharram mating with a Sea Ray.)
