Thanks Steve. Magnificent. Many years ago we were sailing one design J-35's in the Newport Volvo Regatta and our course was the same as the classic "J" boats. Awesome to be among those beautiful giants.
I have a 30" model of Shamrock V (Thomas Lipton's last attempt), under full sail, in my LR, and saw her moored in St. Michaels, MD--you could see the mast from all over the Eastern Shore. The lines and proportions of the Js are magnificent, and the scale is breathtaking!
