These have been a long time coming. I don't think there is anything new here, but it makes life easier for all of us if things are in print.
1. Be courteous and appropriate. This forum is for mutual support of sailors through the sharing of knowledge and experiences.
2. Observe the purpose of sub-forum titles, post accordingly. Clearly mark titles as "non-sailing" when using the general sailing forum for non sailing subjects. Duplicate posts in the same or different forum areas will be deleted.
3. Solicitation and items for sale should be posted in the Swap Meet section. All items must be related to boating. Commercial entities should contact a board member for direction. Solicitations outside of the SWAP MEET section will be deleted.
4. Political commentary, personal attacks, posts with profanity and other off color remarks will be deleted and the offender will be warned. (Please see rule 7 below)
5. Pictures should be in context and tasteful. Whenever possible, please post photos at size that does not expand the forum beyond that of a normal 1024x 768 screen.
6. Please use the "Association Business" forum or personal email to board members to discuss forum or association issues such as membership, bylaws, association events, elections, suggestions, criticism, etc. Threads may be moved by forum moderators.
7. Personal attacks against other posters or members will not be tolerated. Offenders may be banned from the forum.
8. Repeatedly violating these rules may be grounds for suspension or revocation of forum rights.

9. You can save a lot of follow up questions by identifying your boat, hull number, rig and keel type in your signature.
