My neighboor has an Alberg 30, don't know what year. His wife would like to buy him a new rudder for his upcoming birthday (Isn't love a wonderfull thing?) I've been asked to see if I could find one.

Any ideas were, or if they are even available? I don't want to post on their website, since he regularly checks it... Besides - I need someone to sail circles around...

If you can't find an OEM part try this web site - www.fincofab.com.
They fabricate rudders out of 1332 Borchard Ave., Sant Ana, CA, 93705. I've never used them but happended to notice their advertisement in a sailing mag.

e-mail Douglas Young (if he doesn't respond to this discussion)registered on this forum as Douglas. He has an Alberg 29 'TRISKA' and spends time on other forums that are Alberg related. He could probably point you in the right direction.
