I am in need of some assistence. I currently have a 250, wing keel, in the water at Lake Berryessa in Northen California. I would like to take it out of the water and have a bottom applied. My problem is that I do not have a trailer. I am looking for a trailer to rent in order to transport my boat to a boatyard and then when the work is complete transport it back to the lake. Are there any 250 owners in Northen/Central California that would like to mkae a little extra cash?
To bad you are not on the east coast. I could help you out. I don't plan to drive to CA from Boston anytime soon. But I'm sure there will be someone in your area able and willing to help out.
Kevin on "Wait for Me" has a wing keel and is from Tracy. Perhaps he would loan you the trailer for the use of your slip?? He trailer sails all over the area here in Northern Cal. You could e mail him thru this site. He started a discussion on the bouyancy of his trailer, NOT!! in the general forum.
